How not to miss an error

Even though all the conditions for collecting high-quality analytics (more in the article Maximizing effectiveness of analytics) are provided, object detection software still generates false positives. If there is no opportunity to organize a curtain zone according to the necessary parameters (high resolution and photosensitivity of the camera, illumination at night, etc.), it is recommended to configure the system so that the classification of objects is not the only cause of the alarm.

This setting will cause more false positives, but will reduce the risk of missing an important event. 

On the one hand, such a classification of objects is necessary, which will allow filtering out false alarms. On the other hand, the mechanism may miss a real alarm, which will lead to high overhead costs. So, additional setting that will trigger alarm signal besides mere classification of objects, are worthy trying.
